We’re excited to announce our first academic screening at Texas A&M Corpus Christi’s film series “The South Texas Cinémathèque.” We’re honored to be part of the curated film series featuring the likes of David Redmon and Ashley Sabin (Girl Model), Ben Steinbauer (Winnebago Man), Joe Swanberg (All The Light in the Sky) and David Lowery (Ain’t Them Bodies Saints).

About The South Texas Cinémathèque:

South Texas Cinémathèque is a film screening series designed to broaden exposure to independent film by bringing internationally recognized filmmakers to Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Hip-Hop Fellow will make its world premiere at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival! The screening is 10:40am on April 5th at the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham, N.C. The premiere will be followed by a 20 minute Q+A with Kenneth Price and 9th Wonder. Tickets are available to the general public with prices set by the festival at $15.  Seating is limited and we expect the screening to sell out, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets today…

Congratulations to one of The Hip-Hop Fellow’s most dynamic interviewees, Young Guru on being named artist-in-residence at USC’s Thornton School of Music. Young Guru has collaborated with everyone from Jay Z to Beyoncé to Drake to Eminem to Kanye West and shaped their sounds.

Now, the Grammy Award-nominated engineer-DJ-producer will shape minds at USC as an artist-in-residence for the coming academic year.
